Professional carpet laying tape consists of a PP film reinforced by fabric backing an acrylic adhesive. The standard different adhesion value guarantees a strong tack and virtually residue-free removal from the substrate. tesafix® 51960 is almost completely resistant to ageing and plasticizers (no discolouration of PVC / CV floorings). The side with the stronger adhesion is covered with a white liner. Main application: Border and butt conglutination of floor coverings based on foam or textile woven backings as well as PVC and CV floorings on nearly any substrate, like primed screeds, ceramic flooring, natural and artificial stone, PVC floors, timber floor board and sensitive substrates (e.g. parquet). According to DIN 18365 the substrate has to be level, stationary, clean, permanently dry and free of grease or wax films.
