Tolerance class 0 - For calibrations in production and in air-conditioned testing rooms. Tungsten carbide gauge blocks are anti-magnetic, very resistant to oxidation, and about 10 times more resistant to wear than steel.
Even in heavy-duty applications with tough working conditions (for example, in the presence of grinding swarf) the high surface hardness of around 1400 HV ensures that tungsten carbide gauge blocks continue to have a very long service life.
