PFERD COR 860, square pointed precision hand file, cut on four sides. Surface hardness grade of 1200 HV (Vickers scale), for work on stainless steel (INOX), e.g. V2A, V4A, very heat-resistant steels, exotic alloys but also fibre-reinforced plastics, etc. Due to their high surface hardness grade, CORINOX® files are extremely wear-resistant and tough; they are ideally suited for work on materials that are hard to file. They do not clog up. Chips can be removed by knocking the file gently against a hard object.
